Describing a Cool Bicycle
This is a picture of a really cool bicycle that I'm going to describe. The first thing that I find unique about this bicycle is that the upper part of the top tube and down tube is dark blue while the lower part is white. It shows a really unique combination of two colors instead of just using one solid color. It also has a white saddle instead of a black one, supported by a black seat pillar or post. It has regular gear shifters and strong wheels to help it move. It has a paddle which is used to move the bicycle. Other parts like the brakes and grips are also included. The grips are important because we can hold onto them so that we won't fall off and the brakes are used to stop the bike to avoid crashing. So this bicycle has all the complete parts needed to help it function and a really awesome combination of two colors and that's what makes it a really cool bicycle.

Final Draft of Famine and Malnutrition in Somalia
Famine and Malnutrition
Several years ago in Somalia, there was a heavy drought that caused many crops to fail and resulted in the deaths of many animals and people alike. Such heavy drought caused the misery and desperation of the Somalias that many emigrated out of the country to other places like the US in hopes of finding better jobs and sufficient food.
However, some families do not have enough money to emigrate out of the country so they were stuck in Somalia, desperately trying to survive in its harsh weathers. The Somalias have become so malnourished that they had bones sticking prominently out of their skinny bodies. Many had succumbed to hunger and was lost after a few years. Those that were left lived on tenuously, often on the brink of death. Famine became a great problem in Somalia.
During the famine of Somalia, a young girl named Mary lived in a tiny hut near Somalia's extremely dry and barren fields. The fields that used to grow numerous amounts of crops that were enough to feed the whole country with delicious rice, sweet corn and flowering with all sorts of fruits were all gone. They were all empty, nothing growing out of it. Mary and her family were left distraught at Somalia's present situation. After watching their neighbors family and friends alike lost to hunger, they barely had any hope left. However, the knew that God would not abandon them, especially in times of great distress such as this.
All the children who survived were forced to forage for edible weeds or anything edible they could consume. The smallest potato were a comfort to them. Mary was forced to work in the fields tirelessly all day from early in the morning until late at night, the sun beating down relentlessly on her and the cold night sending chills to her bones. "I'm tired dad, can't I rest?" Mary moaned. "Sorry Marry, but you know how low we are on food." Dad replied with a sigh.
Everything was getting harder and everyone was struggling day and night; foraging for edible weeds, digging for any remaining food or looking for water. Everybody were losing hope and it seems almost impossible to survive that kind of heavy famine.

Fictional Story on Famine and Malnutrition in Somalia
During the drought, a lot of crops were failing because of the nasty weather. The people in Somalia were starting to starve due to the failure of crops. The atmosphere was tense as many Somalias started to think of emigrating to other places while others were talking about how they were going to survive the drought. Somalia had become so dry because of the lack of rain that many were dehydrated and malnourished.
Throughout this drought, there lived a young boy named Jack. Jack was starving as he hadn't eaten a full meal in days. His younger brother and sister had not managed to survive the heavy drought and died after a few days like so many others due to starvation and dehydration. Almost everyone left were malnourished from the lack of nourishments they were receiving. His parents were losing their job and Jack had to forage for edible weeds in Somalia's dry and parched fields. They lived in a small hut near the dried up river. In the past few weeks, Jack had become so malnourished that his bones were bulging out prominently out of his thin and frail body.
Their family did not have enough money to emigrate out of Somalia and they were struggling to survive the drought. His father dug up the last scoop of water out of the dried well and even edible weeds were getting scarce. They knew it was only a matter of time before all was lost but they had to cling onto the hope that they were going to survive this no matter how impossible it seems.
"Dad, what's going to happen?" Jack asked his father worriedly. "Nothing will happen, everything will be fine." His dad reassured him but worry was plainly written all over his face. They all had bags under their dull eyes from lack of sleep as they worried about the days to come. Jack stared at their little food supply longingly, he was dying to eat it but he knew that they had to ration what little they had left.
Famine was a big problem in Somalia and many families were suffering from similar problems. A lot of people were dying one by one but one day... Jack woke up to find a body covered in white cloth carried out the front door. "Wait!" Jack called and pulled the cloth back to reveal his mom's face resting peacefully on the stretcher. "Mom! No, wake up!" Jack sobbed hysterically, shaking his mom's shoulder. "She's gone Jack, there's nothing we can do." Jack's dad replied gently, tears streaking down his gaunt face.
The following weeks were a blur to Jack, who still grieved over his mom's death. Several of his friends were gone too and his dad was working twice as hard to keep them alive. When all hope seems to have lost, a kind stranger approached Jack one day and gave him a loaf of bread, a jug of water and some money to emigrate out of Somalia. Jack thanked the stranger profusely as he stared at the gifts in his hands. The stranger said "Help others as I have helped you and you will be blessed by the Lord." Jack stammered his thanks as the stranger left. "I will sir, thank you!" Jack called. The stranger smiled and left.
Using the stranger's money, they emigrated to the US and started a new life. Jack's dad got a new job and managed to support them both. Life thoroughly changed for them because of the stranger's kindness. Jack followed the stranger's advice and helped others. Everything became better for them and other people because of the stranger's kindness.

Dear Editor,
I wrote this letter in order to express my belief that Indonesian students can get involved in helping world hunger. There are many things a student can do, even small things we do can help them. Firstly, I think what world hunger people needs are food. They are suffering because they dont have enough food to eat so we must help provide them with food.
I think what students can do is gather bags of rice or other food and send them to the world hunger people. We have a lot of food at our homes and I think it would be nice if we could use them to help others who need them more. It will be a great help to them because even the smallest grain of rice means a lot to them and I think this is something that we can give them.
Second, we can actually encourage other people to start doing the same thing. Students can draw advertisements, brochures or use other means of advertising such as posters highlighting the importance of donating food to the world hunger people.
Furthermore, we should include the importance of this as we are actually saving more lives. Many people die of hunger every year. Some are so malnourished that we can actually see their bones and here we are, feasting on delicious food everyday, not caring that these people are starving to the brink of death. We should do everything we can to help them. In my opinion, age does not matter. Be it children, teenagers, adults or the elderly. Instead, I think we should all work together to help these victims of world hunger. I'm sure it won't seem to matter to most if we could just spare a few bags of rice for others.
Unbeknownst to us, the cruel act of ignoring the suffering of others is actually a form of mistreatment towards other human beings. Shouldn't we try to help these people? What would we feel if we were in a time of desperate need and there were no one to help us? This is what we should be thinking when we donate food to others. This is why I strongly encourage everyone at all ages, no matter where or who you are, to start helping others. If you have never helped anyone, I suggest you start taking the first step. The first step is always the biggest step and you should know that helping people is a very generous and honorable deed. Donating just one bag of rice could save several lives. That is why I suggest we start donating food to victims of world hunger. So let's start donating now. The more the better!

Peace Lily
The peace lily also known as spathiphyllum wallisii
According to wikipedia : Spathiphyllum wallisii is one of approximately 40 species in a genus of tropical evergreens. It was discovered in the late 19th century growing wild in Central America. A number of cultivars, many of hybrid origin, are commercially available, such as the larger hybrids"Mauna Loa”, named after Hawaiian volcano, and the even larger “Sensation”, which are both popular indoor plants. "Domino" is a finely variegated variety of intermediate size.
I think it is called the peace lily because it has a white color which symbolizes purity and peace.
